Jon Huffine,
I am the Owner, and Custom Jeweler. I first started making wire jewelry and enamel with my mom when I was in Jr. High. I worked at Roger's Jewelers as a custom jeweler, designer and diamond setter. I took the Gem course and Diamond course at GIA (Gemological Institute of America). I have taken hand-engraving and multiple courses from different designers and fabricators. I taught jewelry making at UC Davis. I take advanced jewelry grading from GIA every 6 months to a year. With the jewelry industry constantly changing, I believe you have to be constantly learning to stay at the forefront!

Shanda Odell,
I am the Manager. I have been with DJ’s Jewelry off and on since I was twelve. I came back full-time July 2004, and since then I have learned a lot of new things; it seems like there is always something new to learn. And I’ve made a lot of really great friends. Aside from meeting all our great customers, I think getting to play with Ancient and Rare Treasures on a daily basis and getting to show them to all of you, is one of the best things about this job.
When I am not playing with all of you, I am in charge of making the store run as smoothly as possible and am currently one of DJ’s Diamond Graders, Custom Designers, Appraisers, and Jewelry Specialists. However, my favorite part of working at DJ’s is getting to work with my Best Friends every day (mom-Michelle, dad-Jon, sister-Aleasha, and brother-Jonny). Family is one of the most important things in life and there are not too many places you get to work with your Best Friends everyday. Stop by today and meet my family. Aleasha Newell,
I am the Assistant Manager. I have been with DJ’s for the past eight years, but jewelry has been in my life for as long as I can remember. My family has owned DJ’s Jewelry since a year before I was born. I love having the opportunity to work with wonderful people such as my family and the extraordinary people that come through our doors.
I have a passion for jewelry whether we are talking about Diamonds, Colored Gem Stones, Pearls, or anything else that is jewelry; I love it.
I am in charge of making the store run as smoothly as possible and am currently the store’s Re-Stringer (or Stringer; depending on the project), Custom Designer, and Jewelry Specialist.
I love working with jewelry because I can travel the world with what I am holding!

Jonny Huffine,
I am a Jewelry Specialist and Custom Designer and am Apprenticing to make jewelry. I started when I was twelve, like my two sisters. I’m still in high school but I like to work at DJ’s! I have recently started working in the front with all of you wonderful customers so you’ll see me when you come into the store. Currently I am learning to do my own custom design work. I look forward to seeing you soon. Maybe I can help you design something!

Barbara Harris,
I am an assistant here at DJ's Jewelry. As a returning employee after a two-year absence, I have a lot to catch up on! The jewelry business is constantly evolving and changing. I look forward to getting caught up on all I've missed and being able to be involved in all the new innovations that are a constant at DJ's Jewelry. In addition, I hope to see / meet new friends and say "Hello" to all of the friends I've missed.

Michelle Huffine,
I am the Bench Jeweler. I’ve been here at DJ’s Jewelry, since 1990. I started on the sales floor with all the great customers we have and eventually upgraded my skills to the jewelry bench. Now I am one of DJ’s two bench jewelers. I do all kinds of repairs on all kinds of jewelry! Stone setting is my only limitation (for the time being that is). Life is full of interesting challenges.
My favorite thing about DJ’s is one of God’s greatest gifts to me--getting to work with my family.
I look forward to learning and growing in this unique industry!
