The Bearpaw Formation of Southern Albert is one of the only places where the fossilized Ammonite Cephalopods, mineralized and became the rare and colorful gemstone Ammolite. The indigenous Canadians have nick named this variety of Ammonite "Buffalo Stone". Each piece in the Korite Collection is specifically designed to showcase the wonderous rainbow of colors in each piece of Ammolite.
